Monitoring the Effectiveness I: BSP Implementation Checks

This group supervision session will explore the use of implementation checklists in behaviour support plans (BSPs) to enhance fidelity and consistency in practice, recognising that a behaviour support plan is only as useful as how well it gets trained and implemented. We will review how checklists can serve as practical tools for support staff, parents, and educators to support the effective and consistent application of behaviour support strategies. These checklists act as self-monitoring summaries for implementors and provide practitioners with a way to monitor the success of their training and evaluate the effectiveness of the plan. The session aims to improve the quality of behaviour support through structured, user-friendly resources that ensure practitioner confidence and accountability.
