Emotional Regulation
February 11
$55Emotional regulation is not just a deep breath. This session focuses on understanding emotional regulation, including identifying and prioritising the skills needed to manage emotions effectively. Participants will explore what emotional regulation is, the steps involved, and to reflect on what we consider successful or unsuccessful. Through reflective questions, attendees will examine how emotions, both “positive” and “negative,” influence thoughts and actions, including the impact of small shifts in emotions and responses. The session will also highlight the full range of skills that support emotional regulation and guide participants in identifying which skills should be prioritised for individual needs. By the end, participants will have a better understanding of what emotional regulation is and how we use this skill.
