Episodic Severity Measurement of Behaviours of Concern

This group supervision will focus on the use of episodic severity measurement for behaviours of concern, a useful way to assess the intensity and impact of behavioural incidents over time. Participants will learn how episodic severity measures can be used to monitor how effective pbs strategies are in decreasing harmful situations by capturing variations in harm, distress, or disruption associated with each incident. We will discuss the best ways to set up measurement systems that capture the most important information in the most effective and efficient way. Practitioners will leave equipped to measure and interpret episodic severity in order to evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of a behaviour support plan.
